    Research Direction

1Designs of high-entropy catalysts and applications in H2 energy systems

2Designing triple-phase catalytic interfaces for efficient hydrogen-electricity interconversion devices

    3Designs of polymer-based super-ionic conductors and development of high-energy, fast-charging, ultra-safe solid-state batteries

    Scientific Research Achievements

His research primarily focuses on the design of key materials, regulation of catalytic mechanisms, and construction of functional interfaces in hydrogen fuel cells, water electrolysis, and high-energy-density lithium batteries. He has published over 50 papers in leading journals in chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science, including Science, Nature, Chemical Reviews, Joule, JACS, Angewandte Chemie and Advanced Materials. His work has been cited more than 3,500 times in SCI-indexed literature, with several studies selected as Highly Cited Papers, Editor's Highlights, and cover articles of the respective journals. His research achievements have been widely reported by domestic and international science media, such as China Central Television (CCTV), China Science Daily, BBC (UK), and Nature News.

He has presided over more than 10 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well technology transfer projects by industrial partners. Currently, he is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Chinese Society of Electrochemistry, and the International Society of Electrochemistry. He also serves as a youth editorial board member for Sus Mat (2023 IF=28.4), a high-start new journal under China's Outstanding Action Plan for Science and Technology Journals.
